| Wow. Very inspirational song. Or I think so anyway. I absolutely love the chorus. It's pretty obvious what the song is about | |
| Lynyrd Skynyrd – Georgia Peaches Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Prostitutes in Georgia. Very easy to tell that's what this song is about. The meaning kind of reminds me of "House Of The Rising Sun" too. Talking about how ho's will take everything you have and tear your life apart. So stop messin with them Georgia peaches lol. | |
| The Band – The Weight Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| What I always thought this song meant was that the man's carrying the weight of some girl named "Fanny" and as the song progresses, more and more people add their weights on top of him and by the end of the song he's tired and wore out. I'm a spiritual person, but even though he makes biblical references (the devil, judgement day etc) I don't really think that's the whole meaning to the story. That's just my opinion though, I could very well be wrong. | |

@mjw54. Apparently you don't know too much about poor southern boys. Lol it's ok. If they wanna stay warm then they gotta chop wood to burn in the wood stove. After the war, confederacy cash was rendered useless as someone had mentioned a while ago. And the last line I'm guessing refers to the death of southern boys in general. |
