Never good on judging the song meanings, but I did notice a slight error. You have "To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear" and the the song has this line 4 times. The third time it is said, this is correct, but 1st, 2nd, and 4th are: To the childhood I lost, displaced by fear. |

I have to say in my opinion, malkirion has it right as far as the meaning goes. To me it is completly about his mom. I do like the idea about it being about Head and him leaving too. I did read somewhere that 1 or 2 of the songs on this album were aimed towards Head leaving. I think it was Head that said this too. As far as some of the lyrics, I feel its Everything's illuminated, Everything is dedicated. Listen to the unplugged version. His words are a bit clearer. Although the part of "Arm to kill" in the unplugged version does not sound like it, but I feel it is Arms... |
