This is a great song, lyrics by Ne-Yo & Stargate. It clearly fits Rihanna's perspective well, but one should keep in mind that this song was not even originally written for her, hence the lyrics weren't written with her in mind, but could surely be related to by her. This song was offered first to Brandy (You can hear Brandy's version of it on youtube), and after was passed on to Rihanna. Great track, the minor key and signature stargate arrangements are reminiscent of Unfaithful and Cry. |
