| You all are too sensitive. While Lando's comment was insensitive it wasn't as uncalled for as you all of you trying to put meaning behind a song to which the lyrics make absolutely no sense at all. I read ur comments and I really can't believe any of you are even trying to find a deeper meaning to this song than some guy singing about a "thing" -maybe a girl? WHO FUCKING CARES. | I like Zeroglitter's interpretation. I think this song is mostly about how frustrated Jessicka is that she can't convince some one that she isn't below them. As in all the "If I do this then will you see?" stuff. I know from experience, so I think the Swollen lips thing is how she might bite her lips to keep from screaming at them (though she's amaxing at it =) And "swollen shut" because she doesn't argue due to lack of words to say or just way too many. I feel this way with my father alot. He's racist and a homophobe. He's so ignorant to how insensitive he is I just have to chew my lip and ignoe him. I don't think there's any helping it, so Jessicka I feel ur pain. | |

OKAY... My interpretation is COMPLETELY different then what you guys have been coming up with, lol When I hear this song I think of a soldier who's died on the battle field... and the "evil angel" is the death that's coming to take him. It remind me of the Valkyrie. Valkyrie are Noreigen angels of war who reep the souls of the fallen soldiers. As in "evil angel." "Put me to sleep" as in kill me... same as for "open your wings" = carry me (my soul) away When he says "don't leave me to die here" I think it's a plea for the angel to save him... or if worst comes to worst end his suffering. |
