so basically ive been up all night. just bored so ive been doing random things online and happened to come by this. i found this really entertaining, but then i went on to read some other things. this is my first on line social network type of stuff too, so im still working on this commenting and talking to ppl stuff so bare with me. i cant help but read your journals and feel for you. its a sad thing that we live in a time where hurting like yours can consume what would seem our past few generations. im sorta the type to wear my heart on my sleeve so i empathise for many in a way. even animals. i hate dog pounds, and every stray i find i try to bring it home, doesnt always work. i really dont know where this is going, and i dont know why i felt the need to leave you a comment, maybe it was by chance i ran into your postings, but i didnt want to just ignore it. i guess all i have to say is there are many ppl who care and your not really alone in your struggle. i hope you will find a strong support system and that you will move on from this and do really well. i know im a complete stranger and sorry if this is wierd, but i hate hearing about things like this and not tryin to help in some way or another. but i wish you the best |

is really obvious what it means. a love so strong and a man so willing to follow his love into a place thay have no clue whats in store. he just wants to be with her and have her rest assured hes there. but where i think ppl have missed the mark is, this song isnt about him declaring his position on whether god is real or not. or him saying heaven isnt real and that him and his love wont make it there. i promise you all we have a apot saved for us. nut its more of a metaphor for how undying and how unconditional his love is for her. so when he says the whole bit about no vacancy he is trying to say there is no heaven, he s just trying to say through all uncertanty, especially in death ill be there with you where no one else would go. so basically if there was no place for your soul to rest in heaven or hell, we'll find somewhere together in the dark inbetween.
and on the catholic school bit, being a christian i uderstand at a great depth what they mean by fear being love, but catholics are very old testimate, meaning they operste by rule and its black or white, where in the new test. we hear about love and grace. so in my opinion he never went back, nit cuz he didnt believe in god, but cuz the message he recieved was terribly wrong, and its made clear ny this song that his heart is full of love, so he just simply ran away from what he knew wasnt true.
but this is an icredibly romantic song and its amazing and quite timeless. i love this song |
