| Crime in Stereo – Small Skeletal Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Just a thought, but after reading through the lyrics again a new meaning emerged: could it possibly be about cancer (maybe lung cancer? since its what kills people who smoke.) It makes the line "I used to think it would sleep" make a little more sense, since cancer can go into remission and come back without any warning. And then the last verse makes sense about it hiding in his skin, and him trying to hunt it out. And maybe the line about "unmarked grave" since so many people die from cancer, so he could become a statistic (but that's a bit of a stretch, probably). The only line that throws me off with this interpretation is the small skeletal, I've no idea what that means. Just an idea though. | |
