No this is about a guy who kills a girl, possibly removes her heart, justifies the killing as a cleansing method for people he perceives she had done wrong to, references other people he's killed buried along a shoreline, and at the end alludes to the fact that this will only temporarily satiate his need to kill until he can find more victims. All these songs are about murder and dismemberment, inspired by Southern Grotesque authors like Cormac Mccarthy and Flannery O' Connor. |
