I think the essence of it must be about turning into something you don't want yourself to be, but I guess it to some degree, if not completely, also is a song about how people of authority like e.g. police misuse their power and become lured into becoming the criminals themselves.
Personally I think it might be about american international politics and how The US has misused their power for own gain and how the people (and politicians) get tricked into believeing what they are doing is right due to that they are getting rid of a possible threat (socialism, islam etc.) without realizing tht nothing is completely white or black, both socialism and islam can be completely harmless, and in the contrary quite a positive thing under the right conditions, but due to the power one posses one can become blinded and restrict others right in order to feel "safe" themselves. |

I'm not sure its spposed to be "being jammed up your asshole"
I thought it was "be enjambed up your ass hole" which would make sense considering many poets use enjambment in their poems. Maybe it was a deliberate play on words? |

IMO Eating an animal isnt wrong, all animals eat eachother, and for food it is ok to eat animals, but the reason I still agree with that eating animals is murder because with that we eat animals a lot less food is produced for people to eat and so, indirectly you are contributing to lots of people dying from not having enough/proper food to eat in development countries. |

you gagged because your body isn't used to eating meat, not because of your feelings prolly. happened to me and I'm vegetarian for environmental reasons, so I didnt really feel bad mentally for eating it, but i threw up as it's a normal reaction with ppl who havent eaten meat for a while |

True, but at the same time, where does the part about not having a house come in? Maybe he's trying to tell the story of someone being foolishly "in love" with the thought of having someone as all his/her other ties are cut with people who formerly cared :P |

actually, I think this might be about something completely else; the more general idea of always being in situations you know won't last for long (car) and just wanting to stay in a certain situation because of being afraid of what comes next. |

| Hilltop Hoods – Stopping All Stations Lyrics

I think that what the writers meant to portray with this song was the relations between different generations in our society today and also the difference between living today and 50 years ago. All of these people seem to have tough lives but the different people's way of handling their problems are very different. Even if we seem tot hink we are smarter and things today, in reality we are going back to our "default settings" more and more, accepting al sorts of things and our society. People are ruder and care less about their people around them when they want to make themselves feel better, totally walking over everyone else, in the end finding themselves with only gaining 2 dollars and a pension card.
The old man might actually represent ourselves and the rest of the story our fear for the future. We are scared to be blind and deaf to what is waiting for us, not being able to tell what is approaching us until it is too alte and we are stuck in the chest by a person who doesnt care about us. |

| Atmosphere – The Woman with the Tattooed Hands Lyrics

Dhaynswo!! u totally make me understand it i think :P i think what they meant was to show how bad and evil work together and they used the woman with the tatooed hands as a metaphor for this and how she might be seen as very decent woman for not being drawn to the lust of flesh, but at the same time it turns out that she has only found a better asnwer to her needs
Maybe they also meant with "They climbed deep inside of this woman's garden" that we have potential of being both good and evil when we're born, but we all seem to grow up to be a bit of both
see this is the beautiful thing with art, u are allowed to interpret stuff the way u want urself, and usually it means something special for only you <3
