In my opinion, alot of you are right, the song is beautiful and has an amazing message. the one thing i didnt see anyone mention was about this line "I checked his gun And his chamber was empty" everyone said that it ment that the soldier had either shot at Ronnie, or he had killed another man, which could be true, but i think that it was meant as saying that ronnie had not only killed at a man who was like him, but he also had killed a man without any way to protect himself. just my opinion. |
