Genesis – The Carpet Crawlers Lyrics 4 years ago
@[Carlito234:38105] Ever heard of analogies? Multiple meanings? Yes there's the story of Rael going on in this album but a lot of the lyrics are applicable in many different scenarios and I believe that's intentional.
I have to admit, I find this compelling. Especially since it follows "Counting Out Time", a song which is clearly about sexual experiences.

Is it what happens in the story? No. But it's pretty neat symbolism. It follows into the next song about the 32 doors (which could be related to the sperm finding it's way to the womb).
Yes, it's pretty clear what Rael goes through here, but if you read between the lines you'll find out what the album could be about metaphorically.

John Martyn – One Day Without You Lyrics 11 years ago
Song about Beverley. Or as John would say, the Berkeley Hunt or the National Front.

Kiss covered this song, yes. Argent made the original.

Stratovarius – Forever Lyrics 15 years ago
Jutah is very much correct. Timo Tolkki composed this song for his father who passed away, and it's most likely about remembering the good times they shared and that he will always remember him.

Meat Loaf – Lost Boys And Golden Girls Lyrics 16 years ago
Probarly about Steinmans Neverland musical again. The protagonist of Neverland, Baal, ran away from the city and became the leader of the pack, The Lost Boys who did the same thing as Baal. They are ruthless, reckless and living for today. And then there's Wendy, the golden girl who wants to be in the pack with them. It's about Peter Pan, simply put.

Meat Loaf – Heaven Can Wait Lyrics 16 years ago
It's definately about Neverland, a musical Jim Steinman wrote in the 1970's, loosely based on Peter Pan. I have an audio copy of a workshop session of the musical myself and this tune is on there (Along with some other Meat Loaf songs). What it's about in the musical itself I don't want to answer.
