I love this song. It's so painfully truthful and the feelings are so easily felt. Its something i think a lot of people can easily relate to. When i hear it i think of someone who is so in love with someone else but there's something keeping them apart, and yet they love each other against all odds. No matter what other people say their love is stronger than that and they just wish that their love could be open and they could be proud of it . |

When i heard this song for the first time i felt like i had heard it before. The beauty of it lingers once the song is over. I get chills every time i listen to it. I've read some of the comments and i agree that it is about the inevitability of death and no escape from the pain and suffering that life brings. i think it cant be related also to many different natural disasters, or even human made disasters that can lead to the death of many. Tragically beautiful and my favorite song on the album |

From their new album I must say this is the best song on there. I think that this song has a very true storyline and one that a lot of people go through, making it very relate able. Basically the way i interprate it is that there is a girl who has a very frail heart (possibly from getting hurt in the past) and is now extremely taken advantage of because she doesnt have the strength to not let it happen. Also, the "take a drink to get your courage on" is a very true statement because due to the past hurt, shes been broken down so much that she has no confidence in herself left. A lot of this song i can relate to because i have had guys take advantage of me, and its cause i let them. "touches her leg and thinks hes getting close" is something i definitely understand because many girls let this happen when their self esteem is down all around amazing song |

this song is way too unknown i think its absolutely beautiful and i love listening to it when im walking outside by myself. i think it has to do with a relationship that faded away but the love was still there and he wants it to be rekindled. california is such a beautiful place as most likely their relationship. |

reminds me of a deep emotional bond i have with my kind of boyfriend this song brings me to times of us driving together in the dark and the emotion is unbelievable it hits me every time i listen to it and even though it reminds me of something good it makes me sad at the same time. |
