Why? makes a lot of connections with cLOUDDEAD. Check out The Vowels, Pt. 2 from Alopecia, then listen to the beginning of 3 Twenty from Ten. They use the same lines, it's pretty awesome. Same thing happens with this song and The Great Compromise from Dose's solo album Skeleton Repellent |

It's not really a thing within this album, it seems to me that a lot of the members of the anticon collective - ESPECIALLY Dose and Why? - do this sort of thing. For example, you can hear Yoni say the first line from The Vowels, Pt. 2 "I'm not a ladies man, I'm a land mine" in the beginning of the cLOUDDEAD song 3 Twenty on their second album Ten. Another example, one of my favorites, is a line from Early Whitney on Oaklandazulasylum where Yoni sings "That ain't no god, that's just a hedge on fire". You can hear Dose One quietly speak the same line at the very beginning of The Great Compromise from his solo album Skeleton Repellent. |
