| You used credit cards during the holiday season, didn't you? Admit it! Well, I did too. I think a lot of people are guilty. The thing is that I always budget for paying off holiday debt afterwards, because those Black Friday savings will be negated by interest. I don't get any Starbucks (it kills me!) and I cut a few other things until I have paid off all the holiday shopping I did by March. No using credit until then — no cards, no payday loans, no nothing; I budget for everything. It’s great to give gifts, but you shouldn't break your back doing it. | |
