ye i gotta agree with all of these comments. its definitely one of my favorite machine head songs. the verses seem to stand out to me more so than the chorus. i think its because all the names he uses in them have been said to me on a daily basis for years. sometimes its just for fun but overall it all adds up and starts to really hurt.
i love machine head. theyre songs seem to convey so much emotion. they can get me totally pumped or pissed off or really depressed or sad. theyve almost made me shed a tear once. |

yes he is christian. lots of the songs like this that are really anti-christian like are actually written by Kerry King. Tom just puts his beliefs aside to sing them for the good of the band.
i agree with you about sparking controversy though. they use that Satanic and anti-christian theme because it gives them lots of publicity i think |

uh actually u guys are both kinda stupid. Slayer is not actually Satanic at all. in fact the Tom Araya (the lead singer because you probably didnt know who he was) is a devout christian with very firm beliefs. he just puts his beliefs aside to sing the songs and they use that Satanic image your talking about because its good publicity for them. |

well because i'm in high school i always relate this song to school because your in school for 13 years including kindergarten. i truly and absolutely believe school is the most useless thing anyone ever invented and im so pissed off that you hav to go it because it doesnt amount to anything. i mean look at what people who didnt finish school achieved... im basically talkin about 95% of all metal i know. |
