This song is based on a personal experience. Edwin was shooting pool in a random bar somewhere and apparently some chick was having a bad night. A guy overheard her and approached her, in hopes of an easy score and shoots her the line "Baby, I'll be your crying shoulder". Edwin overheard this dialogue and was impressed by the pickup line, so he wrote a song based around those words. As shallow as that may sound, the song can be applied to anybody in a relationship where you love someone 110% and would do anything for them. |
