| This song is about the demented Dr. Mengele during the Holocaust. What he did is sick beyond all comprehension. None of us can possibly feel the empathy for the Jews that were at his mercy that they deserve. Good song, really serious sadistic topic. Only Slayer could pull it off though. I think this song is about obviously people's willpower, but I also think it is about themselves and all the shit they have been through. I love the hard, thrash metal Metallica, but wow some of their Load/Reload even some Black songs (Nothing Else, Unforgiven) are just beautiful masterpieces of music.This is why I love Metallica so much. I can listen to some of their stuff to go get absolutely jacked up out of my mind, or I can listen to songs like Until It Sleeps to relax and reflect on life. God bless Metallica. | |
