| Katy Perry – Teenage Dream Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I actually think that this song is really sweet. to me, it's about love, not lust, and so this song represents what it's like to let down your walls around someone who actually deserves it. not some random stranger... not some pointless hookup... someone who is in love with you and makes your heart skip a beat when you see them, the person who you wish could have swept you off your feet in high school like in the movies. but they're just showing up for you a little later in life... and you're finally able to experience all the butterflies etc. etc. since they're more mature in this point in their life, they can do adult things... aka sex... because they know what it's truly worth. I don't think you could say that sharing love is a bad thing when you're mature and in love with the person. I can relate to this song. | |

| Relient K – Over Thinking Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I actually relate to this song on the girl's end. I'm currently dating a wonderful guy who is very religious, and I don't share the faith... I think this song is a lot about being afraid of going too far and being scared of losing sight of your values. maybe he has doubts about the relationship for religious reasons even though he really cares about the girl, and keeps overthinking the entire situation which detracts from his feelings... thinking about scenarios in which their difference of beliefs could cause things to go wrong. I'm pretty sure that's exactly how my boyfriend feels, actually. :/ | |

it's funny about the interpretations of the word "bean," I always think of the bean in chicago. maybe that's just a regional bias ;) I agree though, it seems this is about a man and his daughter. the writers above have done a good job elaborating. |

| Lady GaGa – Bad Romance Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| she sells her soul to the devil [baphomet] to achieve fame. note the goat heads on the wall at the end of the video where everything is burning. the meaning of this song is that she wants fame, the good and the bad; she will be the music industry's whore. | |

| seriously? there's too much evidence to even debate! that's not the kind of thing you accidentally include in a video.... burning beds with baphomet and lady gaga surviving? seriously? I mean, I'm not a conspiracy theorist and I'm not a bible beater who wants to condemn gaga for her blasphemous devil-worship [I don't care, symbolism interests me], but it's undeniable that a ton of illuminati symbolism pervades her entire career. watch her other videos for more evidence. or take her performance at the VMAs. a blood-covered outfit? that same website has a great article on that show too [pink's ensemble at the VMAs is UNDENIABLY symbolic]. at first I didn't like lady gaga, and now I just think she's creepy. | |

she doesn't cross herself. it looks like she is crossing herself, but she's actually forming an upwards-triangle, symbolizing the male phallus. http://vigilantcitizen.com/?p=2737 yes, I do believe this article. |

| Mika – Blame It on the Girls Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
the lyrics here are wrong in the first part of the song! the correct ones: so I was sitting there in the bar and this guy comes up to me and he said "My life stinks" and I saw his gold credit card and I saw the way that he was looking at people across the room and I looked at his face and you know, what a good looking face, and I just said, "Dude, your perspective on life sucks." he's got looks that books take pages to tell, he's got a face to make you fall on your knees; he's got money in the bank to thank and I guess you could think he's livin' at ease like lovers on the open shore, what's the matter? when you're sitting there with so much more, "what's the matter?" while you're wondering what the hell to be are you wishing you were ugly like me? blame it on the girls who know what to do, blame it on the boys who keep hitting on you; blame it on your mother for the things she said, blame it on your father but you know he's dead blame it on the girls, blame it on the boys; blame it on the girls, blame it on the boys life could be simple but you never fail to complicate it every single time you could have children and a wife - a perfect little life but you blow it on a bottle of wine like a baby you're a stubborn child, what's the matter? always looking for an axe to grind, what's the matter? while you're wondering what the hell to do we were wishing we were lucky like you blame it on the girls who know what to do, blame it on the boys who keep hitting on you; blame it on your mother for the things she said, blame it on your father but you know he's dead blame it on the girls, blame it on the boys; blame it on the girls, blame it on the boys blame it on the girls, blame it on the boys; blame it on the girls, blame it on the boys he's got looks that books take pages to tell, he's got a face to make you fall on your knees; he's got money in the bank to thank and I guess you could think he's livin' at ease blame it on the girls who know what to do, blame it on the boys who keep hitting on you; blame it on your mother for the things she said, blame it on your father but you know he's dead blame it on the girls, blame it on the boys; blame it on the girls, blame it on the boys blame it on the girls, blame it on the boys; blame it on the girls, blame it on the boys |
