| this song, to me anyway, is about him not being good enough to his mom. i think she died before he got clean, and he's just really sorry that he let her go without her being able to see him off drugs...he's telling her to hate him for not being the guy he could be when she was alive...for not being able to see him in a good place. my mom used to be a drug addict, and she used this song to get over it,...she didn't want to die before my brothers and i got to see her clean, and got to see her be the mom she really could be..so it's kinda the reverse of justin, cuz she's the parent and not the kid, but it's kinda the same idea, i think. i love this song. it brings tears to my eyes every time i hear it. it reminds me to be all i can be now, because there won't always be tomorrow... | |
