This song seems to be about an individual who's memories of their parents have crippled them in some way. The seaweed is like the shackles of the sea. So as the individual thinks about their parents they feel stuck. However, in the end of the song they seem to be dreaming of freedom of some sort. This is possibly from the shadow of their parents and how chad seems to be their lifeline/escape into the open or away from their parents. |

I completely agree, though hip hop has a lot of great music the vast majority of its background music is sampled from other music. But regardless of this fact, to claim that this song plagiarized a simple eighth note beat from another song is to over scrutinize. If you want to scrutinize that much, all modern music would have some degree of plagiarism. |
