I have read it over 10 times. I don't find it hard to beleive that Kevin would enjoy it. It's a very beautiful, symbolic book depicting Georges Batilles wildest and horrific internal thoughts. It's not a book that should be judged purely content wise. Much the same way an artist like Kevin Barnes should not be judged by the content of his lyrics, but by the feeling and emotion behind it. Just because Kevin is an agreeable lyricist while Georges is a little less 'agreeable' writer, does not by any means make Georges less of an artist. That's all I'm trying to say, I suppose.
