I love this song, I can relate so easily. I'd say it's about a guy who is facing his realization that there is no chance to be with that girl that slipped away. She moved on, he didn't... He's in over is head. |

He's saying he went into a relationship or whatever, and it turned out to be opposite of what he thought it would be.The girl he's aiming this towards ended up wanting something else, not him. I think he's saying she CONTRAdicted her own words, because she chose to leave him for better things. |

This song got my attention the first time I heard it, and I've loved it ever since. The meaning of this song can be kind of vague...I guess he's realized the mistake he made in that past relationship and wants to that person to know, even if the person doesn't want anything to do with him, hence the "You don't miss me but I really don't mind." Anyway, it's a good song. (: |
