Im not a huge Miley Cyrus fan, but I love this song cause I relate to it so much. This is how it realtes to me- Me and my broke up, and it has been about a month since we have been apart. He had a new gf, and we never spoke anymore. On a Friday, I saw him and he was about to go and talk to me but his gf came over and started talking to him. So I looked away and then I looked back a few minutes later and I saw him and his gf kissing. I looked really sad but Im pretty sure he didnt notice and went home. The next day I got a call from him saying that he missed me and wanted us to be together. He told me he is going to break up with his current gf too. I said yes but until he breaks up with her. We dated about 8 months after that :) |

I think this song is about how he is telling a girl that she doesnt control him, or something along the lines of that. He controls the girl, not the other way around. Well Thats what I get out of it. :) Anyways, I love this song! |

| My ex BF sent this song to me shortly after our realtionship ended. He said this described how he felt after I broke up with him. I left him because I was not happy in the relationship and I thought everything was wrong, but turns out he thought it was perfect. I also left him cause I love someone else. Now we are good friends and he found someone to love again :) | |
