It appears to be a stab at organised religion, and destructive acts and suffering wrought by it on good-natured people. He seems perplexed as to why the aforementioned people cling to their beliefs in light of all the negativity thats spews from these institutions. |

Seems to be talking about the "disenfranchised masses" and overthrowing the current (malevolent) ruling body through a violent revolution. Ahh that Orwell. I would've given these Bostonians a gold medal if they referenced "Snowball" in the song, but - no dice. Bronze, it is! |

This one is based on the tragic parting of Kevin Baker and his plush bear Snuggles. Only the thought of "ending it all" helps him anchor his life on barely tangible wisps of terra-firme.
This song was a part of my metalcore-gateway...and will always have a special place reserved on the 32nd layer of Hell with a side of love. |

With a cursory glance, it appears to be taking a "jab" at the "reformatory" state of the US prison system, and anything akin to it. After all, locking someone up and heaping abuse is bound to reform their nature and reacclimate them, right? Ha! However, Baker may very well be referencing the mundane elements of skull-drudgery that each of us face with those who hold sway over various facets of our lives ( Be it the high-minded bureucrat in the office, or a narrowminded authority figure at your educational institute, et cetera). "Served everyday laughing at all of you". Surely, if I "bit the bullet" in my formative years, I would've had that carved on my tombstone. |
