Just in case someone STILL refuses to believe this song is about music and not cocaine, just think about all of these other bands that say clever or witty things and metaphores in their songs but actually mean something else or the exact opposite, well that is what this is, this song is one big extremly cool metaphor about being addicted to music. Travis himself has said thats what its about and even said that he has some sort of condition and that him and cocain dont mix because of that condition too. Its really a great song when you listen to everything thats said that seems like its about drugs but its really not, like the opening when somebody asked him are you high and he's like shit yeah im high but not high off of drugs but music. Anyways great song. |

To me their saying were the best but were getting old but were still fighting. I say that because when they say "Your Not The First Or The Last..." its like a critic talking abound bands because theyre not the first or the last band to exist but they might be the best("prettiest"). Then they say "He's A Fighter Past His Prime..." which I take the 'he' to mean Fall Out Boy as one person is still alive and fighting even with their trials, tribulations and succesful careers. FOB is the best. |
