Not to be too critical but that definately sounds like a religious interpretation of this song, Max himself says that he doesn't believe in Christianity and is more of a spiritualist. I personally think that in this song he's talking about an alternative entity or it's actually a critique of religion, with I and I being used in an ironic sense, contrasting with the earlier passages: "Realize - realize In this time - realize You can't fuck with the tribe" It's fairly open to interpretation this one. |
