Hey, this song is orginally called "left hand song" because its played mostly with the left hand on piano. This song was released in the album "at home with friends" by joshua bell and he accompanies regina with the violin, however this song was originally known as "a lesson on how fleeting preservation is" and it was only recorded at life performances. Im pretty sure you'll love the new version and you can get it at amazon for just 99 cents. :) |

This is one of the best examples or sarah's unique and extraordinary talent to mix classical opera music with modern sounds and beats, this is just awesome, I like the tradition between her opera singing to her soft melodic voice and then back to opera, also I like the effect of thunders in the background and the violins throughtout the piece, I'd like to know what the opera part means ad how it relates to the rest of the lyrics.... |

To be honest i don't think we'll ever understand what regina means in her songs. They're just metaphors that can be interpreted in many different ways depending on the listener. |
