watching him play this song, with a knit hat pulled down over his face, the skinniest boy i've ever seen, but yet his voice is still full and beautiful makes me understand what loving your family is really all about. you need to see dear jack if you havent already. |

okay rosesareblue- her name is kelly. they broke up right before this song was written. andrew was on tour all the time, it was incredibly stressful, they just couldn't keep doing it. they went to a new year's party after the breakup and had an enormous fight. andrew gave kelly a mix tape-it has some really good stuff on it, lots of neil young, pete yorn. andrew can't live without kelly. he misses her with all of his soul, and has to get her back. essentially most of everything in transit is about kelly. the day this album was finished being mixed andrew went to the doctor and was diagnosed with leukemia. he became insanely sick. while he was in the hospital kelly stayed with him and they of course worked things out. andrew got better (for the benefit of mankind) and they got married maybe last year? year before? but everything is okay now! =] watch the movie "dear jack". |
