I'm basing my opinion off of the acoustic one so BEAR WITH ME.
Anyway, I think it's about looking back to when you were younger and everything was easier. "Remember when we used to shine." Sort of like the shine that life had before everything got screwed up as you got older and it all changed. And now wishing that you could go back to when things were simple when all that mattered was what was happening in the next 5 minutes and not in forever. But now it's like everyone is trying to make them something their not and they don't know what to do so they want to go back.
If you can make sense of that than I applaud you. |

A person feeling like they can control everything. I know MyLastDays was saying how it seemed so hopeful, but I honestly feel that its kind of dark. I feel like it's someone trying to control somebody else because they feel like they're so much more powerful or whatever. "I want a new game to play." I honestly think of like a cat and a mouse at this time, with like the cat chasing after the mouse and eventually getting bored with it and deciding that it's time to make things more dangerous and raise the stakes. I think this song is about like just acting young and making mistakes but moving on. It's like live while you still can instead of living your whole life wondering what if. Don't give a shit what other people think and just live and let go cuz if you never do anything then you're gonna end up dying with an unfinished life but if you just go for that chance then you'll end up living a full life and being happy even when you're dying. |

I think that it's kind of about looking back and seeing that you've made mistakes and that you haven't done anything about it and just tried to get others to fix them but they can't change the things that you've done. But then you finally can like work up the strength to try to make a difference and fix things and you find out that you can't change what you've already done, but even just trying to reach out to these people that you've hurt or whatever can make both of you feel better even though nothings really changed. |

This song makes me cry whenever I hear it. It makes me think of all of the things that I never said but now it's too late. I could have tried to make something happen. Now they're just "Memories I will never find" I feel like it's about wishing that things happened and wishing that you were still there with that person but knowing that you can't ever truly go back. And even though you loved this person, life just like came in and pulled you apart. This is one of the most beautiful songs ever. |

I got the feeling that it was more about taking chances rather than about an abusive relationship. I felt that it was like sometimes you need to take chances no matter how frightened you are. ("You can see it through my chest, And I'm terrified but I'm not leaving") And how you can be so scared of change or of whatever is going to happen, but in the end you could end up happier from it. But at the same time realizing that it could end up bad and your life could end both literally and figuratively. |

Beautiful song. I kind of got the feeling that this was about that it was about like trying to hold onto everything that you have and some sense of happiness even if the world is falling apart around you. Yet in the end all of your efforts can't help and that it all ends up falling apart anyway. That's just my opinion on it. |
