The Proclaimers – Three More Days Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I love this song! It's VERY obvious what it's about so I'm not going to bother explaining it. lol. Anywho, I can almost guarantee that everybody has left home at some point and just counted down the days until return time. |
The Darkness – I Believe In A Thing Called Love Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This song was on Bridget Jones' Diary! I love this song...I was singing it today in cheer practice. Lol |
Peter Gabriel – Solsbury Hill Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I first heard this on the YouTube parody of The Shining trailer. If yu just look up Shining, you'll find it. It's SO FUNNY! Iy looks like a happy-go-lucky family movie. I heard it once and fell in love with this song. It's so Amazingly Fantastic. He was torn between staying in his band and leaving to take care of some family issues (it was either a child or his wife, I think his wife was ill, but I don't remember so don't take my word for it). He realised his family was more important, but this song is still about the heartache of being torn between two very important aspects of your life and having to say goodbye to one. He was obviously happy about his decision. |
Moby – The Sky Is Broken Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This was on X-Files too! Twice, I believe. Again, calming bedtime music. Very Lovely. |
Moby – My Weakness Lyrics | 14 years ago |
X-Files drew me to Moby. Haha. It's very calming, great bedtime music to sleep to. |
The Faces – Ooh La La Lyrics | 14 years ago |
It would be a great Graduation song! My class want's "Thnx fr th 'memories'" I can't even write it. This would be Fantastic. It's on a lot of commercials and it was on "Without a Paddle" and the T.V. programme "Men of a Certain Age" |
Badly Drawn Boy – Something to Talk About Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I too was introduced to Badly Drawn Boy through "About a Boy". I love it now though. This song is Fantastic. "Ipso, Facto..." Brilliant! |
Kaiser Chiefs – Ruby Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This song played in my head all day long. I enjoyed it. Brilliant song! |
Queen – Don't Stop Me Now Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This song is so random and fun! It's adorable and I LOVE it. It's clever and happy. |
Electric Light Orchestra – Mr. Blue Sky Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Happiest song in the world! I could see my self just dancing around in the middle of nowhere to this. I don't know where the music would be playing from, but it'd be great. |
The Wombats – Let's Dance To Joy Division Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I was researching Australian animals when I came across this band a couple of weeks ago. Lol. Downloaded this song and now I LOVE IT. |
The Proclaimers – Notes & Rhymes Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This song is SO ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The first two stanzas are my favourite. They are pretty much saying there is so much misery and pain out there, but it's not happening to me, so I don't care. Right now, I'm happy and nothing can take my good mood away. |
The Proclaimers – Throw The 'R' Away Lyrics | 14 years ago |
It's obvious what this song is about, but if you're oblivious... They are constantly getting crap for their Scottish brogue and have been asked to change it a number of times but they stuck to their ground and said they were'nt going to create some fake American accent like alot of other artists do. To prove it, they made this clever and humerous song. Again, one of my favourites! It's so clever and funny! 'I'm just going to have to learn to hesitate To make sure my words On your Saxen ears don't grate' I just adore this song! |
The Proclaimers – There's A Touch Lyrics | 14 years ago |
It is definately one of my favourites! I've got like 8 from them, but this one is definately a better one. It's about finding that there's one person for everybody, and you can fall out of love. Everybody has a different take on love and there isn't really a correct way to believe in love. I'm listening to this now...this song is INCREDIBLE! |
The Proclaimers – Then I Met You Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Thinking everything in your life is just rosy, then meeting someone and realising your life isn't good without them and having them in it would make it one-hundred times better. This song is kind of on here twice. This is the correct title. LOVE IT! |
The Proclaimers – Sunshine On Leith Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I love the part where they talk about how 'As long as I'm worth my room on this Earth, I will be with you'. So sweet and this song is so calming and lovely. |
The Proclaimers – Over And Done With Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I adore this song. One of my favourites ever! The theme to this song is how everyone should live their life. In the end, it doesn't matter so much. Let the past be as it is and come back a few years later to laugh at that crazy teacher that we only hated because it was our goal in life to make her life a living hell. I bet they had fun in school. |
The Proclaimers – Let's Get Married Lyrics | 14 years ago |
That is the sweetest thing I've ever heard. and Spudly, For sure the best line. |
The Proclaimers – It's Saturday Night Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I can't believe there are no comments on this one yet. AMAZING, yet again. It's so humerous. I've declared it my new drinking song...I'm just less destructive. haha. |
The Proclaimers – I'm On My Way Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I see people skipping when I hear this and little Oompa Loompas going up in down on the uh huh uh huh uh huh part, in my head of course. Lovely song. I'd have Al Jolson sing "I'm sitting on top of the world" |
The Proclaimers – I Met You Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Agreed! This song is absolutely, freaking, AMAZING! They should play this all over the radios. |
The Proclaimers – Come On Nature Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Again, them talking about a girl one of them happens to love. I LOVE this song as well, but then again, what song by The Proclaimers isn't good? |
The Proclaimers – Cap In Hand Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This song is AMAZING! Scots didn't really fight for their country. They just let England walk in and take over. If I was Scottish, I'd be really upset. Getting handouts can be so frustrating "Get in line son, there's five million waiting" (my FAVOURITE lines from this song) |
Ian Dury And The Blockheads – Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This song actually played on an episode of Doctor Who and the Doctor says, "It's good to be a lunitic" instead of nice. I was annoyed. Lol Funny song, though! |
