for me that song is about a relationship between a famous guy and a girl that don't love him, she are just with him because he is famous. so i agree that it's about a breakup, cuz he notice that she don't love him and she is trying to use him. well, i readed all comments but it didn't changed my mind... i don't know if he had a relationship like that, but that song absolutely sound that way for me; i love the strokes!
