Polkadot Cadaver – Long Strange Trip to Paradise Lyrics 16 years ago
Simply put, I believe this song to be about Hunter S. Thompson and drug use. It's also a mix between two old DFD demos called "Barely Breathing" and "Devils Wife". It's equal parts LSD-25, DFD, HST & brand new PC.

The Doors – Alabama Song (Whisky Bar) Lyrics 16 years ago
Even if The Doors didn't write this song, I'm certain that Jim saw something in the lyrics kindred to him. To me, the lyrics represent the prototypical rockstar life that Jim became so infatuated with, sort of a prologue to the whole "Lizard King" stage of his tragic yet inspirational life.

Booze and women are two things that no rockstar would go without.

The Doors – The Movie Lyrics 16 years ago
It could be Jim looking back on his life with a retrospective eye, and also appears hauntingly psychic after watching Oliver Stones "The Doors".

Perhaps Jim knew his existence had been larger than life, almost like a movie. He lived enough that a movie based on his life seemed almost predictable.

Biffy Clyro – And with the Scissorkick Is Victorious Lyrics 16 years ago
I think this could possibly be about somebody talented, who the lyricist seems to dislike,

"You will become the victorious (become what may)
With the skill to fell the rest of them down, you are what I despise"
Seems to point to the talent side of things, and how the lyricist seems to dislike that fact. They deserve all the fame they get, but the lyricist still resents them for some reason.

"And I hope you judge your life on all the friends you've made
To think, to think you went away (Yes I did for you and I'm far away from you!)"
Points toward this figure leaving at some point, possibly a change in social circle (one that the lyricist holds at a distaste). It also seems to speak of the lyricist being somewhat happy about this.

"It's the same as I feel low, everything's the same, nothing matters, but it is all right"
Could possibly be how nothings changed with this figures departure, things are back to normal and the lyricist is relieved about this, if no happier than he was before, but I'm not too sure here.

"fit you into your mouth"
Makes me think of the figure having a big mouth, big enough to fit himself into it.

"Why would you bow down? Why would you bow down? Would you, would you stay? Stay a while for..."
Then turns the track slightley on its head, showing possible regret at the figure leaving, like the lyricst even misses the figure.

But these are just rough ideas, first time interpreting.
