| Britney Spears – He About To Lose Me Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
This is the best song on Femme Fetale. It's the only one with emotion and I consider it Femme Fetale's "Unusual You", just with different feeling. I absolutely adore this song, it's fabulous. I could add in my interpretation of this song, but ImitationofCait pretty much said everything. |

| Lady GaGa – Born This Way Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Such a great song. The lyrics were kept literal to pour everything out and have it be left in the open. There are no euphemisms or sneaky metaphors, just simply, "I'm beautiful in my way, 'cause God makes no mistakes. I'm on the right track, baby. I was born this way." | |

The lyrics are so wrong here. You're missing verses and a lot of it isn't even in order. These are the correct ones: Well, well, well, well, well Do you love me like you know you ought to do? Well, well, well, well, well Or is this the only thing you want me for? Well, I've been meaning to talk to you about it for sometime Sweet little lass, you are my long haired lady Who's the lady that makes that brief occasional laughter? She's the lady who wears those flashing eyes Who'll be taking her home when all the dancing is over? I'm the lucky man she will hypnotize Long haired lady Long haired lady Bees are buzzing about my sweet delectable baby Birds are humming about their big surprise Who's your favorite person, dear phenomenal lady? I belong to the girl with the flashing eyes Long haired lady Long haired lady Ah, love is long, love is long, love is long I'll sing your song, love is long, love is long Ah, when you're wrong, love is long, love is long (Win or lose it) When you're wrong, love is long, love is long Well, well, well, well, well Do you love me like you know you ought to do? Well, well, well, well, well Or is this the only thing you want me for? Well, I've been meaning to talk to you about it for sometime Sweet little lass, you are my long haired lady Ah, love is long, love is long, love is long I'll sing your song, love is long, love is long Ah, when you're wrong, love is long, love is long (Win or lose it) When you're wrong, love is long, love is long (Win or lose it) I'll sing your song, love is long, love is long Ah, love is long, love is long, love is long Ah, love is long, love is long, love is long Ah, love is long, love is long, love is long Yes, love is long, love is long, love is long Yes, sing your song, love is long, love is long |

| John Lennon – Remember Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| It scares me too. Not in a startling sort of way, but just the thought of the explosion itself is kind of creepy. | |
| The Beatles – Come Together Lyrics | 15 years ago |

I couldn't tell you what this song means, since I STILL haven't a clue, but one thing interests me. "he shoot Coca-Cola" reminds me of the moment in the 'A Hard Day's Night' film when John was sniffing his Coca-Cola just to get a reaction from the old man sitting next to him on the train. Hilarious moment. I wonder if that's what he referred to. |

| Britney Spears – Phonography Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
The song is obviously about phone sex, but it's also about the two people (Britney and the anonymous "Telephone Man") as well. Mainly about Britney, but... moving on. "Phonography", as she calls it, is a personal pleasure for her. This song is solely about her want for lust and the excitement behind phone sex. That's it; she isn't in love. She might not even be friends with the guy, but one can only assume this based on her inconsideration for how he might be feeling about her not wanting him for anything more than phone sex. The lack of romantic or platonic love allows her to easily see him as no more than a sexual object. The man on the other line is there merely for her own entertainment. She's also open to him about that (there will be no talk of adding you to my plan. I'll keep you connected 'long as you understand, that's how we should keep it, Mister Telephone Man), because she doesn't want him to develop any sort of feelings for her. If he were to fall in love with her, the phone sex fantasy she's living would be destroyed. Hope this helps |

| K'naan – Wavin' Flag Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
The version I heard had many other singers in it. At the end with Justin Bieber, I think they used his young voice for a reason. He sounds very young and child-like, so I think they used that to sort of create a certain feeling of a young child caring. Somewhere along the lines of that. I most certainly cannot articulate my thoughts at the moment, so I would love to see some replies to this. |

| K'naan – Wavin' Flag Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| When I first heard this song, I didn't pay much attention to the lyrics. Not only that, but I haven't slept yet (I first heard this song tonight). I thought "and then it goes back" was a literal meaning; the flag waving, sort of back and forth. The more I heard it, the less sense that made. Thanks for the comments | |
| Miley Cyrus – Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (Cyndi Lauper cover) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song is almost meaningless when Miley Cyrus sings it. I feel this way about her other song, 'The Climb'. Great lyrics, but garbage when it's sang by someone so obnoxious. | |
| Millionaires – Just Got Paid, Let's Get Laid Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I love this song. I love how it's straight out, "just got paid, let's get laid." People call this trash, but I applaud it. It's nice to see women not being afraid to sing lyrics like this. | |
