this song seems to be about how the nature of words isn't stable and how we can't put trust into words- they can be used to say things that aren't meant. Nearly meaning something isn't enough, somehow all the words in this song, like their relationship, truly fail to express what is meant. Maybe there's more truth in shutting mouths, in silence. |

this song is about being scared to truly give yourself to anything, because once we commit ourselves into believing in things like love we ultimately don't possess all the power and therefore can come to know sorrow. but is there any other way to live? we can only acknowledge and appreciate joy by experiencing contrasting emotions and by taking chances. |
