| I know this album was written about Canada in general. But this song is really strong. It's kind of imagery of a girl leaving childhood and growing up and sort of the first time of everything. Very bittersweet. | |

I think is song is about a girl that's with someone who doesn't know how to love. The guy was raised by parents who didn't know how to show him they loved him so his whole life he's searched for that love. The girl wants to stand by him, and use the love her parents showed her to give him the love he's longed for. He is afraid of bringing her down, that he isn't good enough for her but she knows he is worth it. She wants to let him feel love so he is no longer lonely. I love this song! It is so beautiful! |
