I have a couple of takes on this song. 1. The singer is away from his lover, wife; whatever, and in order to not go crazy over missing her so much he decides to be 'cold'. Deep inside, he still loves her, but he has to toughen up to get the job done. 2. He's really depressed. Period. A manic, someone diagnosed as bi-polar, will know what I'm talking about. |
