| i highly recommend the book "against happiness" by eric g. wilson to anyone who feels a strong personal connection to this song. similarly to this song's message, it speaks of the american ideals we are taught to live up to, and how happiness seems to be the ultimate goal in everyone's score book. however, all too often the happiness is built upon forced foundations rather than pure and honest joy. | |
