Um, no? "Bigwig" is a pejorative expression for an important person. In this case Big Wig is the owner of a business or something ("My daddy works for no one"), and Little Wig is his son who's supposed to follow in his footsteps, but doesn't feel too fit for the task ("The shoes he wear don't fit, they're just too big for me"), and eventually leaves to pursue his dreams. |

I think this could be about Jamie and James. They have "twin flames in their hearts", they share the same energy, they're like soul mates or something. The giveaway was the "harmonise in time" line, cause you know, they do harmonise, they almost always sing an octave apart, James sings the lower and Jamie sings the falsetto upper octave, it's like the signature Klaxons sound.
OTOH, it could be about any two people who feel like they're soul mates. Friends, lovers, etc. |

I think it could be "Mercuria" instead of "Peculiar" in the chorus. You know, Venus, Mercury, et al.
Best song on the album BTW, IMO. |
