It's a really interesting song for me. Personally, I get the feeling of self-undoing, particularly when involved with someone. The moment you are attached to someone, you suddenly feel out of place. You want to disappear, and shut down yourself from them. Who knows why, but you become more distant as you draw closer. It's as if you're being pulled away by someone inside you. And the finale concludes such conflicts, as any involvement has been torn. You are looked at as insincere, and can only watch as that someone disappears from your life... I love Hybrid for mind-opening tracks as this. |

It's a great song. In my opinion this song says that things may have gone badly in a relationship, but you'll still try one last shot to set things right. And if it doesn't work out you move on, with valuable lessons learned and knowing that you're just fine. |

In opinion, I think this song sheds light on adaptability and survival. When "the world moves on", it may be a reference to how in this moment of time everything is unpredictable, and can shift at anytime, even for the worst. The line "I see the future but it's getting farther" sounds like your perception of the future is beginning to become unlike what is happening. I think it raises the question if you can adapt yourself. |

I think the song revolves around large impacts or transformations your life, how it can bring your spirits down, and to move on and bring out your best in your lifetime regardless. On a personal level, a LOT has happened to me in the past 5 years. Lost friends, a broken family, among others. I feel this song defines exactly what I've gone through. |
