| Jonas Brothers – Make It Right Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
Its obviously about someone the writer had a relationship with. They thought that person could have been the one but obviously so much has happened they are no longer together the fact that "wait around forever" is mentioned implies maybe it had something to do with timing or not doing enough to show they care, it also implies the person it is about has moved on with someone else that is why "But I'd like to say that it's your fault But I know better 'Cause I'm a fool to think You'd wait around forever". The song then goes on to say "Maybe I could have loved you" Generally it could be thought that he means he didn't love the person but instead I think it means loved them the way they wanted to be loved: commitment being in a relationship with the person because the previous verse showed that they loved the person just with the mention that they could have been the one also "Maybe I could have shown That I still do care about you more than you could know" Backs this up because the writer obviously is regretting not trying harder and committing themselves, the person that its about obviously had a previous relationship with the writer "I still do care about you" Overall It seems the writer is telling a story, the main point of it being a past relationship that is unresolved, The writer wants to blame the person its about because they have moved on but then goes on to express that they were not there and they didn't do enough therefore it is not the persons fault for moving on, however the writer does still care about the person because now that they are gone the writer is seeing everything they could have been and just wants a chance to make it right. The writer obviously has strong feeling as they say "Cause if I had one wish you'd be with me forever" Any just an interpretation ;) |

Something's creeping inside everything is about to change got to face the fact that I can't walk away This is critical I amm feeling helpless So hysterical And this can't be healthy I can't eat or sleep when you not with me Used to have everything figured out but it's different now when you came you saw you conquered my heart It's you laugh and smile wanna stay for a little while I don't wanna I just want you in my arms. This is critical And I'm feeling helpless So hysterical And this can't be healthy I can't eat or sleep when your not with me baby your the air I breathe This is critical......Yeah So stuck on you used to run and hide, used to back out of love but I can't escape this time....No This is critical i am feeling helpless so hysterical and this can't be healthy I can't eat or sleep when your not with me your the air i breathe this is critical... Yea baby it's so critical, critical and I like it baby its so critical, so critical Yeah So stuck on you Tried to make it out a bit more :) |

| Nick Jonas & The Administration – While the World Is Spinning Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| It seems Nick likes to use weather as metaphors and when talking about rain its like he is referring to heartbreak, "All the windows are locked again" kind of obvious its about someone shutting him out again therefore this isn't the first time, the first line shows she's in pain and then mentions "Of everything that I have to say To her face" In the next verse its obvious the other person can't make up their mind about something and has perhaps lied. Nick mentioned that this song is about human nature and when people do what people do, Its seems like the other person has sinned "Don't be alarmed when sinners stand" but maybe what he means by this is that he shouldn't be surprised that the girl in the song did whatever she did, when he says "All the pictures in the frame are cracked And she's afraid" its like she is ruining what they have because she won't let him in. | |
| Nick Jonas & The Administration – State of Emergency Lyrics | 16 years ago |

It is obvious that whoever this song is about has hurt him, the person obviously has influence over him "She's seductive But she does it well" obviously he isn't with the person "You run around with someone else Satisfy yourself" he doesn't think she should be with that person she is just filling a void getting satisfaction from someone else cause perhaps he isn't around "She'll tell you that she'll leaving If you don't put your life on pause" however "I know it's hard when life's unfair But that doesn't mean you shouldn't care Show me the way to reach your heart Where do I start?" shows that he does want to be with the person and that he does care about them. |

| Nick Jonas & The Administration – Olive & An Arrow Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Love this song and its meaning, I agree with both xothefancykid and luckyyou13. It is obvious that he is in love with the girl "She leaves me hopin' That my love won't show" even though he is trying really hard not to be, he is saying that he doesn't want his love to show because he is afraid of being hurt. As the olive and the Arrow represent Peace and War it is obvious these two people have conflicting issues. However with the opening line "We've never been into honesty So promise me you'll let me know When you're lying" maybe the girl in this song is also scared of getting hurt so she will put up her guard "She'll be the perfect woman Then she'll change" It's like she is letting him in but they have maybe had a past and both been hurt by each other so she will retreat "suddenly You wanna cry from the feeling" and this leaves him feeling frustrated and one of only a few men in her life "I'm just another photo That made its way on her page". I agree that he thinks the girl doesn't care as much about him as he does her but overall you can see that the other person in the story is also scared and maybe they are giving him an arrow because that is their way of trying not to show their love because like him they don't want to end up heartbroken. | |
