I think you could be right @Tatterdemalion44 :-) I think it's about how he doesnt want to see her hurt again or him as a matter of fact. He's trying to see the better side that one day everythings going to be fine again or even better. "There will come a time you'll see with no more tears, and love will not break your heart" I think i'm in love with this line, it sounds so comforting and especially the way its sang. "Get over your hill and see what you'll find there" it's like he's saying move on and it will get better. Instead of staying in the place where they feel all this hurt. Even though its easier said than done but how he sings it is beautiful. |

Could be about the ususal boy/girl fiasco. The way we make each other feel and the quick change in our emotion. "I'm freaking out I'm so alone just pick up your god damn dog and bone" She never calls him back and his minds making problems up as you do when someones ignoring you. He hates the games that girls play and he's being lead on. As soon as he confronts her he has this instant regret "my heart begins to break" I like this song it's like you always imagine the girl that's being lead on and heart broken but now we have a guys point of few, ah its so good! |

mhm, is it maybe about being with somebody but being in love with someone else. It's like the guys point of view he wants to know if she loves him but maybe he doesnt want to let her go because he'll be alone. Perhaps even though he'd love for her to be his he's willing to settle for the affair they have. I'm probably talking bollocks but it's what you think, right? |
