Okay so I can see the point that "So you fake your full" means that that person is anerexic... but I think that when he says, "You fake your full" It means that you fake happiness, and that the person is doing everything they can to get through day by day- but nothings making them happy. So then he starts to describe all the things that that persons done to become happy, and I love how it goes from one extreme to the next. "Some trust in love, some trust in hatred etc" Then I guess he found drugs to make him happy and he keeps telling himself only a little more to get on through the door which is usually what drug addicts say and then it goes on again. and he realizes it's to late he's gone down the wrong path? |

I feel like this song is about two people, ( I didn't get the impression that they were lovers) but they had gone through everything together. And then something happened and they different hense ( The how I can't recall as I'm staring at what once was the wall) and now he see's what she's become and it's that moment of realization that they've grown to be different people... I just see it like that. That's the image I get in my head??? I don't know. But the first time I heard of this song I cried. It's kind of like two people who never said I love you and didn't care but cared all the world? Weirdness. -those are just my thoughts if anyone can follow them. |

This song has basically changed my life. I love it so much. My favorite verse of all time is : "There now, steady love, so few come and don't go will you won't you be the one I always know. When I'm losing my control, the city spins around you're the only one who knows, you slow it down." It's the most beautiful thin ever written. A guy proposed to me using this verse, So effing beautiful. To me it means, "There now steady love" -- He's adressing the one he's loved forever. "So few come and don't go" -- Many people leave in your life, and you can't always expect someone to stay, but when they do you have to hold on to them for dear life. Then he proposes in a way, "Will you won't you be the one I'll always know?" (The most beautiful proposal in the history of man kind. SOOO Full of beauty. Im so obsessed with this verse haha) Then he tells her why he's so madly in love with her. In ways that are so awesome! "As I'm losing my control the city spins around, your the only one who knows you slow it down." Then after that theres more beauty. "It's always have and never hold You've begun to feel like home. What's mines is yours to leave or take what's mines is yours to make your own." -- How beautiful can you get. Isaac is a mad genius. :O I love his writing. So magical :) So full of meaning. |
