We all come from different backgrounds and have many stories to tell each other but sometimes not all of us are up to the task of sharing. Some of us if most put up empty handed facades just to please each other and get bugged out by the littlest of things that we say about each other. |

I love this song ever since i was a kid. And I could relate to it deeply. I felt that being a conformist is kinda soul destroying. People go outta there way to discriminate and slander for the slightest differences in society. But you know what, you just have to rise above it. With 6 billion people on Earth no ones a vegetable or criminal or whatever. We all have free thoughts and deep spirits. Its who we all are, longing to be free. |

I always thought that Crime of the Century was a concept album in a way. About a man who grows up and loses a few marbles along the way and is convicted of a crime and in the end he pays dearly due to everyone's mistakes. |

Love this song ! Its about a rocker who ends up finding out he has a son that he never knew about since he was out on the road a lot. and tells the kid the story about how he met his mom a long time ago. Thats how it is being a nomadic rocker on the road, it happens. |

man another classic by Supertramp. From what ive liked in the lyrics i always thought it was about an anti-social man who suffers from holding in so long. Even rejecting the drugs that is offered to him in the lines "Dont you wanna get, dont you wanna get high ?" because it wont help and makes matters worst. I can relate to this song. I'm a loner myself and kinda anti-social and i dont need to get high on pot to escape my problems. Because like the song, yes the record has holding my heart. |

This song is about how we see the significant things and compare it to the insignificant things and it becomes a big different. Like how Roger says "Look at me I'm a speck of sand,And I'm building ,dreams in a strangers land Tell me why do I care". He means that why should one person feel like they've made a big difference compare to the other 6 billion people on this planet. And its true, who are we all on Earth ? But as long as there is just you and someone you care about, thats all you truly need. |

I love this one written by Roger Hodgson. Its about a man who keeps telling the girl that he loves her and that she shouldnt follow him in life. But the girl continues because she longs for him, and so does he. In the end they cant turn their backs on each other as they commit to seeing each other to whatever end.

this is one of my fav. Suptertramp songs and they dont make songs like this no more. From what i hear i always think the song is about a whimsical kid, be it a guy or girl, who just daydreams about what they want. And the song's inevitable ending they just have their dreams there to guide them in this life. |
