This song can be taken many ways. I think it is about her parents divorce. The divorce had a big impact on her and she doesn't believe in love. "You are the only exception" can be about 2 different people. (that I see) 1) Her dream guy 2) God I'm a Christian. She doesn't believe in love except for God's. The meaning differs per person. |
