SONOFABITCH. Every damn song on this sight that I love, people post some annoying theory about drugs. You have watched too much TV, some bands are just talented, and write about legitimate things, such as sober feelings. Look at the title; "The Prom Queen Has No Friends" Why does it have to be about drugs for this? Couldn't it be about a popular girl with a seemingly vast number of friends, but all of them are fake and she treats them badly, hence the habit? So she has no friends when real life, the time when it actually matters, starts. I dunno if this is what the song is about, but FUCK I am so tired of people making everything about drugs. |

| I think that this song has a lot to do with religion.If you have ever heard, "Kicking your crosses down" you can tell that Anthony struggles a lot with belief of God and the Christian religion. For example, the part that says," He has risen, pull me under" makes me think of Jesus on the day of judgement. And when he says, "Dont stop talking to me, I haven't been listening." he may be talking about, or to, God,al and his message. I actually have came to the conclusion that he sold his soul to the devil before. It may sound crazy but it's just a thought. And maybe that's why he says pull me under, because he knows he can't be saved and he's accepted it. And by the way, it doesn't have to be a out drugs just because he made a reference to one. He just like that comparison. | |
