This song.... it has a way of making people want to cry, but also making them want to hold onto the pieces of an impossible hope. I only read the first book - which was amazing, by the way - and the only anguish that I can think of that is on almost the exact level of loss and tragedy... is the death of Rue. When I read the part where she's brutally killed, I fell to pieces. Almost literally. I *knew* that Rue was going to die, but I didn't expect it so bluntly and violently. This song conveys sorrow in a way that only Taylor can. I <3 you, Taylor! |

When she's singing the chorus(c'mon, c'mon, etc.), I imagine her hands at her heart, closing her eyes, singing her heart out and around the end, a tear hits the ground harshly... Very deep. |

I can tell by your username that you don't believe in love at first sight. =) I've only heard stories about that, but do you believe in fairy tales? I dunno why you think that the guy friend is interested in her for her status in beauty and popularity but because she's nice to him but not to other people(happens a lot). I've been a fan of Taylor Swift since Love Story and I admired her relationship with Joe, a loving yet not too crazy and stupid one, so I took all of Joe's +'ing facts, mashed them up, and threw them away. Crap, seriously?! You guys who are shrieking TEAM JONAS are a bunch of turd-piles! What kind of idiot snaps the relationship on the phone? I used to agree with all my friends that Joe was wonderful and we talked about how Taylor and him were a great match and how much they loved each other. I just can't believe he ditched her. Last time I checked, right after Taylor, he was dating that 22-year old from 10,000 B.C. Now, it's Brenda Song from the Suite Life Of Zack and Cody/Suite Life on Deck. I agree with the "two boyfriends, you were wild and crazy, but never replaceable, and now he's perfect, but there's no love like with you" idea, but I'd like to add that this sounds like her rocky relationship with Joe Jonas. They really loved each other(I'm not sure about the wild and crazy part), but something happened, and he was gone, then she dated Taylor Lautner. He was really into her, but not so much with her. He went to nearly all of her things, but she didn't exactly feel great enough to go to HIS things. I'm ignoring the fact that they broke up, too. |
