"Memories of laying facedown, motionless, with such a hollow feeling inside." I tend to live those memories every weekend. |

It make sense to me now! It's about materialism and how it only temporarily fulfills boredom and apathy. "Gather all your possessions, and smile because you've got it all. Still that empty feeling [apathy] won't go away. " Not too sure about the parts in between but uh, " I just hope you survive the crash. " The 'crash' could mean the realisation and depression suffered from the materialism? Or it could literally mean a crash and that he hopes that the survivor only just survived enough so they can now see that they should change their ways or something. Sort of like a born-again Christian. I DO NOT KNOW. It made more sense my mind, heh. GREAT SONG nonetheless. |

What this song means to me is Halo. It has helped me through many hard times. Especially on the last level of Halo 3. |

Beautiful lyrics. "And this is my call to the faithful, I'll be for only you. Doing what you, have called to me, no one could ever understand, my shame you took with those nails in your hands." I don't think that's too hard to understand. One of my favourite tracks off the album. |

Please, save yourself. Hold the critcism and swears. If you're going to say something critical, make it constructive, rather than making a fool of yourself (as you just did). You failed to show evidence on how "they are so uninspired and unoriginal its depressing". Pretty sure they're inspired by God and that's pretty original (read the lyrics again and again and AGAIN if it hasn't sinked in to your thick head by the third time). What do you expect them to do? Create a new branch of Christianity and sing about that? |

The video for this song isn't exactly the best - it's quite embarrasing for them tbh. It makes me feel somewhat ashamed to listen to them and yet I continue to listen to them. I'm not sure what it is about them, but I tend to enjoy some of their songs. Attack Attack! are my guilty pleasure. As for the lyrics, they're self-explanatory - I'm sure it's fairly obvious, Christian or non-Christian. |

You are quite the ignorant @ AnalMagick. Just putting it out there. There's hundreds of bands that sing of similar lyrics. You all think they're stupid? As well as the several hundred million people that follow Christ? Please, gtfo. |

| The Devil Wears Prada – Louder Than Thunder Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I thought this was more about trying to be pure; "What would it take for things to be quiet, quiet like the snow" Considering snow and white resemble purity. He wants God to help him and help others; "But I know I could, I could be better I don't think I deserve it, selflessness Find your way into my heart All stars could be brighter All hearts could be warmer" But that's only MY interpretation - great song. It kinda gives me the tingles ^^ Would be good to hear more songs like this from TDWP without being considered or labeled 'mainstream'. <3. |
