Now that you say it, it does look like that xD. I always thought he was trying to get her back. but she was also confused as to if she wanted him back. I myself say this because of my own break up, i wasn't sure weather or not the guy was using me to get another girl jealous or actually loving me and not just saying it to make me happy. "You tried to lie and say I was everything I remember when I said I'm nothing without you I'm nothing without you" After we broke up he always came back to me. And i never knew weather or not i wanted him too. |

I find its more like were listening to the words of someone in temptation. they want it, they want it bad. and they believe that its the answer because they want it but at the same time they know they better not give in to temptation. The song doesn't really contradict it's self if you look at it that way:P Maybe he was tempted and made it into a song :O I love Nickleback there awesome. |

I love this song simply because he is pointing out that even though it is his fault, there are a bunch of little things that could have prevented it. Much like life. He is saying sorry but at the same time he's saying it's not 100% his fault. Love the song.:) |
