Pet Shop Boys – It's A Sin Lyrics 15 years ago
You're half-right there. Christians do believe homosexuality is sinful, but they also believe it can be cured by faith.

Metallica – All Within My Hands Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this song is about parents who are overprotective towards their children. They think they are doing their kids good, but when they go out into the real world, they are unable to survive because they are so emotionally stunted. So in essence, the parents have "killed" the child by preventing them from properly maturing.
As for the sound, I prefer the acoustic version, since it doesn't have that godawful drum sound(Seriously, Lars, WTF?), and James doesn't sound so pathetic.

You don't have to be a "gay metalcore" fan to hate this. I like death metal, but I prefer the less gore-oriented bands like Malovent Creation and Gorod. This shit gets on my nerves.

The very existence of this band proves there is no god. There's no need for them to rub it in. :P

What, nine comments and nobody's tried to guess the meaning of the song?
It sounds like the lyrics are disparaging the Christian idea of the afterlife. The whole cremation thing is a metaphor for ceasing to exist after death.

Carcass – Exhume To Consume Lyrics 16 years ago
Yeah, this song is about somebody who has a craving for meat but can't bring himself to eat the flesh of "those poor cows," so he decides to try out human meat.

This song is easy to figure out: it's about cannibalism from the POV of the person commiting the act.

Three Days Grace – Just Like You Lyrics 16 years ago
I don't think this is a generic "I hate my parents" song. Judging by the qualities the narrator attributes to the "you," the parents in question may have some serious moral flaws. So the singer is basically saying "Fuck you, you are not meant to be parents and I will not allow your vices to influence my character." This song is a middle finger to those who are not only morally fucked-up, but try to fuck up their kids as well.

I think this song is about the old British Empire, about how it used to be so strong before it fell apart.

@PuppyButcher: Those clean vocals are Mark Hunter's. They're simply overdubbed over the screaming.

Nine Inch Nails – Heresy Lyrics 16 years ago
I think this song being sung by the voice from "Mr. Self Destruct," the voice guiding the album's protagonist to his ruin. Here, the voice is convincing the character to abandon religion and morality by feeding him lies about how Christianity is false and how he's better off faithless. As the rest of the album reveals, this is only another mile-marker on the protagonist's highway to calamity that ends with "The Downward Spiral." When I first heard this, I assumed it was another "God Sucks" song. However, it became clear that the view presented was not the view of the songwriter (Reznor) but the words of a character in the album. This song is is presented in the context of the album as a lie leading someone to self-destruction. So to those who take this song seriously, you better beware, cuz you're following not truth shared by Reznor himself, but the words that lead to ruin.

Coal Chamber – Loco Lyrics 16 years ago
I think this song is about confronting some egostical person and deflating their ego. The references to "the system" and "power" are metaphors for breaking a person's ego. The narrator is saying "You think you own the world, but I'm gonna show you you're not." The person the song is addressing has been driving the narrator crazy, and the narrator is striking back, hence the line "The point, man, don't fuck with me."
BTW, Dez is of Italian descent, not Spanish.
