Parkway Drive – Pandora Lyrics 15 years ago
Sounds to me like an account of a nuclear bombing. I don't think this song is really related to anything to do with what pervious comments have mentioned.

The first verse describes the effect that it caused. The destruction that a bombing would leave. The daylight blocked out by dust clouds, the streets are empty, and this was all before us. They're saying we caused the damage.
At the part where they go on about saving yourself, ("all dreams are gone," "all hope has faded") .. I'd interpret that as somewhat of a "fuck it, do what you can, nobody's safe" message.

"We smiled as we betrayed ourselves."
Somewhere upstream, somewhere where the decision was made to drop a bomb, somebody smiled.. and they smiled as they betrayed the human race.

"Our worst intentions carried away on the evening breath. Everything we lived for draws our final thought around our necks."
An evening breath, I'd interpret this as a single sigh or a breath before or after the bomber dropped it. Just that single breath, on one evening, and there goes every intention - worst and best ones. There goes everything we lived for.

"Your face lies still. I can't see your breath and it's freezing my blood until the end."
I'd say somebody close is now dead as a result.

"What is this hell. Reminisce to the beginning of everything. But the irony alone would kill me. Ten thousand hearts set to silence for the choice of one. End it all with the touch of a switch and I can see our lives burn befrore my eyes."
Trying to say that if you were to think back, think about human nature in its self, the whole situation would be ironic. Humans aren't made to do this. Ten thousand dead because one man wanted to drop the bomb.. he ended it all with the touch of the switch, and litterally, we can see lives burn before our eyes.

Parkway Drive – The Siren's Song Lyrics 16 years ago
I see it as an obvious case of a girl who got hooked on drugs and started cutting.

>Virtue is lost, beyond this sleek veneer, beneath the neon existence
Respect for her is gone, beyond her fake self. Beyond her second face.

>Her face is grey, and everything she longs for turns to black
Her face shows the drug abuse, pale, bags under the eyes. Gothic maybe. Her goals no longer exist.

>The chemicals bring little vindication and white lines lace every vein,
Kinda obvious now, the chemicals, the drugs don't do much anymore. Cocaine perhaps? Cut marks on every vein?

>Does she realise what she has become?
Does she realize she's turned into a pathetic druggie emo bitch?

>But she's not waking and she's still failing
Overdosed. She's taken too much, she's cut too much.

>Follow the sirens song to face this empty cycle
And here comes the EMT to help her with her blood loss and drug overdoes.

>Searching the darkest nights. Searching the silence
It's going to be a dark silent night when she does this.

>And does it make you sick? Can you hear me, is she conscious? Does it make you feel beautiful?
Does this pathetic behavior sicken you? Does it make her feel beautiful? Does she feel good?

>Bloodshed under the streetlight. And does it make you sick? "Oh god, we've got a bleeder here"
She's cutting under a streetlight, alone, outside of her house. I see a hopeless visual at this line.

>Does it make you beautiful? Heartbreak under the streetlight. She's lost again.
Heartbreak because somebody probably loved her at one point, maybe she was beautiful.. before she went down this road.

>Adrenalin strains corrupted arteries
Hardcore drugs induce adrenalin responces, so she's probably doing some heavy stuff
