I love your interpretations of this song. It's such a shame that more people don't appreciate the Grateful Dead today. I mean, they paved the way for so many. Anyway, Althea is a wonderful song, and I especially love the line: "Maybe the fate of Ophelia, Sleeping and perchance to dream Honest to the point of recklessness, Self-centered to the extreme" Amazing.
